Photography Workshops – Terms and Conditions
Important Notice
THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS PROVISIONS WHEREBY YOU MAY WAIVE OR LIMIT CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
The Outback Experience conducts photography, wildlife, nature, and post-processing workshops in various locations within India and internationally.
By registering for a workshop, you agree to the following:
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Outback Experience, its directors, employees, instructors, guides, contractors, suppliers, associates, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, injuries, illnesses, disabilities, property damage, or death arising out of your participation in the workshop.
Release of Liability
You voluntarily release The Outback Experience and its representatives from liability for any injury, illness, accident, loss, theft, damage, disability, or death that may occur during or in connection with the workshop.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participation in workshops may involve travel, outdoor activities, wildlife encounters, uneven terrain, adverse weather, and other inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all such risks.
Instructor Changes
The Outback Experience reserves the right to replace or substitute instructors, mentors, guides, or facilitators at its sole discretion without obligation to provide refunds or discounts.
Venue and Group Size
We reserve the right to determine workshop venues, schedules, and participant limits and may deny admission at our sole discretion.
Workshop Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel a workshop prior to commencement. In such instances, amounts paid will either be refunded or credited toward a future event.
Media Usage
Photographs and videos captured during workshops may be used by The Outback Experience for promotional, educational, editorial, or marketing purposes without compensation to participants.
Intellectual Property
All workshop content, presentations, documents, videos, photographs, and educational materials remain the intellectual property of The Outback Experience and may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, shared, or published without prior written consent.
Cancellation and Refunds
All cancellations and refunds shall be governed by the applicable Workshop Cancellation and Refund Policy published by The Outback Experience.
Service Delivery
A workshop shall be deemed delivered upon completion of its scheduled duration. Failure by a participant to attend all or part of a workshop shall not constitute a failure of service.
Photography Tours, Safaris and Expeditions – Terms and Conditions
Important Notice

The Outback Experience organizes photography tours, wildlife safaris, expeditions, adventure travel experiences, and group journeys within India and internationally.
Travel Documentation
Participants are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid:
- Passports
- Visas
- Travel permits
- Health certificates
- Vaccination records
- Insurance policies
The Outback Experience may assist with information but accepts no responsibility for documentation failures.
Awareness of Risk
Participants acknowledge that photography tours, wildlife safaris, expeditions, and adventure travel involve inherent risks including:
- Wildlife encounters
- Remote locations
- Medical emergencies
- Weather-related incidents
- Political or civil unrest
- Transportation incidents
- Illness, injury, disability, or death
Participants voluntarily accept these risks.
Independent Suppliers
Accommodation providers, airlines, transport operators, lodges, camps, guides, restaurants, and other third-party suppliers operate independently. The Outback Experience shall not be liable for their acts, omissions, negligence, failures, delays, or service deficiencies.
Representation of Good Health
Participants confirm that they are medically fit to travel and participate in the itinerary.
Arbitration
Any dispute arising from participation in a tour or safari shall be subject to arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, under applicable Indian arbitration laws.
Media Usage
Photographs and videos taken during tours may be used for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
Cancellation and Refunds
All cancellations shall be governed by the specific cancellation policy applicable to the booked tour.
Service Delivery
The tour shall be deemed delivered upon completion of the scheduled itinerary.
Equipment Rental Terms and Conditions
These terms govern all photography, videography, and related equipment rented from The Outback Experience.
Acceptance of Equipment
By accepting rented equipment, you acknowledge that it has been inspected and is in satisfactory working condition unless reported otherwise immediately upon receipt.
Responsibility for Equipment
You assume responsibility for all rented equipment from the moment it is delivered until formally returned and acknowledged by The Outback Experience.
Damage, Loss and Theft
You shall be responsible for:
- Repair costs resulting from damage
- Replacement costs resulting from loss
- Replacement costs resulting from theft
- Costs arising from negligence or misuse
In the event of theft, you must immediately notify us and lodge a police report.
Insurance
Equipment is rented without insurance unless specifically agreed otherwise. Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain adequate insurance coverage.
Late Returns
Late returns may attract additional rental charges.
Ownership
All rented equipment remains the sole property of The Outback Experience.
Cancellation and Refunds
Equipment rental cancellations shall be governed by the applicable Equipment Rental Cancellation Policy.
Custom Vacations and Bespoke Travel Services
The Outback Experience may provide customized travel planning, photography vacations, wildlife holidays, and bespoke itineraries.
Participants acknowledge and accept the same risks, responsibilities, liability waivers, indemnification provisions, and documentation requirements applicable to photography tours and expeditions.
Customized travel services shall be deemed delivered upon commencement and completion of the agreed itinerary.
All cancellations shall be governed by the applicable Custom Vacation Cancellation Policy.
Products and Merchandise Terms and Conditions
The Outback Experience may sell branded products, accessories, photography gear, merchandise, or other related items.
Warranty
Unless otherwise specified, products are warranted against manufacturing defects for the period stated at the time of purchase.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage
- Misuse
- Negligence
- Unauthorized modifications
- Improper handling
- Damage caused by external factors
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Outback Experience shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of any product.
Proper Use
Products must be used lawfully and in accordance with their intended purpose.
Cancellation and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds shall be governed by the applicable Product Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes not resolved through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
