India’s most renowned tiger park, the 282 km² Ranthambore National Park is one of best locations in the world to sight and photograph these majestic predators in their natural habitat.

Ranthambore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared as one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973.

These rich deciduous forests, full of dhonk trees are also home to the Indian leopard, striped hyena, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, spotted deer, grey langur, rhesus macaque and lots of mugger crocodiles.

We will be exploring this amazing park over eight dawn & dusk safaris. This will surely allow us to capture the most amazing opportunities of tigers, get to know the park really well and come back home with the most impressive and hard to beat tiger portfolio.

What’s better, The Outback Experience’s Phillip Ross, will guide you into the forests, take you through the fundamentals of wildlife photography and equip you with a good understanding of tiger behaviour that will help you take stunning photographs. Phillip has been travelling to Ranthambore since 2011 and know’s these forests like the back of his hand and will lead you to places where tiger sightings are known to happen.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1:

On arrival at our lodge in Ranthambore (we will help you with arranging your travel from Jaipur to Ranthambore, at extra cost at actuals), tour instructor, Phillip Ross will greet you and welcome you to our beautiful resort. After a quick introduction and settle in, we will have a delicious lunch and discuss our strategy for the next few days.

The afternoon we embark on our first safari into the park, and we take in all the sights and sounds, and understand the terrain and what the park has to offer.

We end the night with a delicious dinner before hitting the sack for the night with exciting dreams of what lies ahead for the next 3 days.

DAYS 2 to 4:

Over the next three days, we awake to the sweet calls of the birds found within the resort and after a hot cup of coffee or tea, we prepare to depart on each of our safaris in Ranthambore. We enter the park early, around sunrise and go in with a hope to sight and photograph tigers, and all the other amazing wildlife that Ranthambore has on offer.

We will be doing our safaris in only the premium zones in Ranthambore. The permits has to be booked well in advance and we will surely try and book the zones that we think will give us the best photo opportunities. The safari timings are from 6.30am till 9.30am and again at 3.30pm till 6.30pm. We will get back for breakfast after the morning safari and depart after lunch.

Phillip will constantly strategise along with the driver and guide, to maximise opportunities and make the most of each day. We are sure to get the best opportunities thanks to this and will surely return from each day at the park with huge smiles on our faces.

On our return at dusk, we we’ll meet for a photography session where Phillip will clear doubts, have review sessions and introduce new topics, before ending each night with a celebratory dinner.

DAY 5:

We embark on our final morning safari in Ranthambore and once back we catch up for breakfast and a final rendezvous, before we check out and drive back to Jaipur Airport, where we are sure you won’t be able to wait to tell your friends and family some fascinating tales once you get back to your lovely homes.

100% payment in advance for confirmation of booking.

Cancellation Fees

• 10% outside 76 days before the tour
• 25% between 75 and 61 days before the tour
• 50% between 60 and 46 days before the tour
• 75% between 45 and 31 days before the tour
• 100% within 30 days before the tour
