The Pench Tiger Reserve & Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve are arguably two of the best locations in India to sight and photograph tigers in their natural habitat.

Pench, with its picturesque teak forests and open meadows, offers classic central Indian tiger country and incredible photographic opportunities. Tadoba, known as the “Land of the Tigers,” has built a formidable reputation for consistent tiger sightings and bold daytime movement, making it a dream destination for wildlife photographers.

These rich forests are also home to the Indian leopard, dhole (Indian wild dog), sloth bear, jackals, jungle cats, rusty-spotted cats, wild boar, gaur, sambar, spotted deer, grey langur, rhesus macaque and a diverse array of birdlife including crested serpent eagles, changeable hawk-eagles, Malabar pied hornbills, Indian pittas, paradise flycatchers and several species of owls.

We will be exploring both of these spectacular parks over 6 safaris in Pench and 7 safaris in Tadoba, spread across an immersive safari experience. All transport is included from Nagpur to Nagpur, ensuring a seamless and stress-free journey from arrival to departure.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 (29th): Arrive in Pench & Afternoon Safari

On arrival at Nagpur, you will be received and transferred to Pench Tiger Reserve (all transport included from Nagpur to Nagpur).

After check-in and a short briefing session with Phillip Ross covering safari strategy, camera settings and expectations, we head straight out for our first afternoon safari in Pench.

This opening drive sets the tone for the adventure ahead, scanning riverbeds, teak forests and open meadows for movement as the forest begins to cool and predators stir.

We return to the lodge after sunset for dinner and a short discussion session before turning in early.

DAYS 2 & 3 (30th–1st): Pench – 4 Safaris

Over the next two days, we enjoy two safaris per day exploring Pench’s prime zones.

Early mornings are ideal for dramatic tiger movement and soft golden light, while afternoons provide opportunities for behaviour sightings, bird photography and tracking sessions.

Phillip will coordinate closely with drivers and guides to maximise positioning, light and background, while also conducting daily review sessions to refine technique and storytelling skills.

By the end of Day 3, we will have completed 5 safaris in Pench.

DAY 4 (2nd): Final Safari in Pench & Transfer to Tadoba

We head out for our final morning safari in Pench, completing 6 total safaris in this beautiful reserve.

After breakfast and checkout, we begin our comfortable road transfer to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.

Upon arrival and check-in at our lodge in Tadoba, we enjoy a welcome lunch and a well earned rest, before we prepare ourselves for the days to follow.

Dinner and image discussions follow in the evening.

DAYS 5 – 7 (3rd–5th): Tadoba – 6 Safaris

Over the next three full days, we explore Tadoba with two safaris per day.

Tadoba is renowned for bold tiger sightings and waterhole activity, offering excellent photographic opportunities.

The park’s bamboo forests, dry deciduous woodland and lakes create dramatic backdrops for tiger photography. We focus on behaviour, territorial movement and strategic positioning for clean compositions.

Evenings include mentoring sessions, image reviews and advanced discussions on reading tiger signs and anticipating movement.

By the end of Day 7, we will have completed 5 safaris in Tadoba.

DAY 8 (6th): Final Safari in Tadoba & Return to Nagpur

On our final morning, we embark on one last safari in Tadoba, completing 7 total safaris here.

After breakfast and checkout, we transfer back to Nagpur, where the tour concludes.

You’ll leave with not only powerful tiger images, but a deeper understanding of tiger behaviour, tracking strategy and wildlife storytelling — after 13 safaris across two of India’s finest tiger reserves.

• 25% between 75 and 61 days before the tour
• 50% between 60 and 46 days before the tour
