TOUR ITINERARY

DATES: 6th to 10th April, 2024 (CAMP FULL – ADD TO WAITLIST)

DAY 1:

Participants are requested to arrive at Bangalore Airport (flight costs not included in the camp price), and will be welcomed and greeted by tour instructors Phillip & Samantha Ross. On arrival at Guwahati, we soon find ourselves aboard a pre-arranged vehicle driving towards Kaziranga. We stop for lunch along the way, and upon check-in, we have an introductory session about Kaziranga and what’s in store for us for the next few days.

We end the night with a delicious dinner.

DAY2:

We awake to the sweet calls of the birds found within the camp and after a hot cup of coffee or tea, we prepare to depart for our first morning safari in Kaziranga! We enter the forest early in the morning and reach the gates of one of the four zones of this beautiful park, our aim will be to get our first glimpse of the great one-horned rhino. After a fascinating drive, we return to the resort for breakfast. Our skippers will now help all participants with a one-on-one image review session, so that the afternoon’s safari will be more productive.

We return to the forest in the afternoon, hoping to make images of more of the magnificent wildlife found here.

On our return at dusk, we will have another learning session on photography, and end the night with dinner.

DAYs 3 & 4:

For the next 2 full days, we spend a great amount of time understanding the park and learn how to maximise our chances with some amazing opportunities, so that we can go take home the most incredible portfolio of this fascinating place.

Our skippers will be with your child on each safari and talk them through changing the appropriate settings, giving them advice about composition and helping them with some interesting perspectives apart from helping track the wildlife of the park.

On one of the days, we will also go in search of the rare and elusive Western hoolock gibbon, the only ape specie of India.

We end the night with a celebratory dinner.

DAY 5:

After an early breakfast, we gather for a final rendezvous before checking out and driving back to Guwahati Airport, where we are sure your child won’t be able to wait to tell you, your friends and family some fascinating tales once they get back to their lovely homes.
